Our Pearls of Life® personalized memory care program recognizes the value of each individual and assists them in "discovering the treasures within."
The program focuses on each individual's strengths and promotes opportunities for new successes each day. By focusing on the "pearls" of Home, Health and Enrichment, we are able to provide a quality living experience for our memory care residents. Within each resident there resides a rich history of experiences and continued needs, wants and interests. The joy in discovering these "treasures within" brings continued pleasure and enjoyment to all involved.
A memory care program created by The Goodman Group, Pearls of Life is the programming for our memory care center at Terracina Grand known as Arabella's Garden and Arabella's Place, for residents with early and mid-stages of dementia.
The Pearl of Home
We provide an environment that is small enough for the individual to feel comfortable and secure. An atmosphere is created that provides structure and routine, while allowing flexibility to meet individual needs. On-going support is given to our families which assists them at all stages of the transition process and through the progression of the disease.
The Pearl of Health
We work with the family, or responsible party, to develop a detailed service plan that identifies the resident's care needs. As the individual's needs change, the service plan is adapted to reflect their current needs. Care is more consistently provided through the use of Service Minder™, our service software technology which provides daily service schedules to our caregivers. Care is tracked and verified through a daily documentation tool. The staff has been trained in the various facets of this program so that each individual may receive more consistent quality care.
The Pearl of Enrichment
We respect each individual's interests, needs and abilities, adapting activities so that the individual can experience success. We actively pursue their participation and encourage all levels of involvement, appreciating the importance of developing relationships and the need for social interaction. A variety of activities are provided, recognizing that new interests can still be developed, enjoyed and appreciated.
